The Best Places To Watch Wimbledon
London’s food and drink hotspots are transforming their spaces and menus for the biggest tennis tournament of the year – this is our guide to the best places to watch Wimbledon…
The Refinery Bankside
The cocktail bar by Drake & Morgan is particularly a hot destination in the summer, when the outdoor terrace opens for the season and a large screen broadcasts all the action from Wimbledon. This year, the outdoor space transforms into the appropriately named “Pimm’s O’Clock” terrace, dedicating their menu to the classic summertime cocktail.

It’s not just the view of London’s skyline that makes this Southbank restaurant a favourite – the stylish Modern European spot screens all Wimbledon matches and serves tennis-themed cocktails, from the Wimbledon Negroni to the Service Ace and the Pimm’s Royale. On the weekends, you can pair your truffle and caviar toast with bottomless Pimm’s – only available for brunch during the two-week tournament.
Skylon, Royal Festival Hall, SE1 8XX
Located in the heart of Notting Hill, Californian-inspired restaurant Pomona’s has fitted the beautiful outdoor garden with a big screen for the tennis tournament. While you witness every serve, make sure your waiter serves you the special Wimbledon-themed dessert, featuring Pimm’s jelly with cucumber sorbet.

The Chelsea institution doesn’t just settle at a big screen for Wimbledon – you’ll find a gigantic tennis ball installation on the courtyard, while a special set menu will be available during the Wimbledon final. Think yellowfin tuna with fennel and yuzu salsa; burrata tortellini with peas; and of course, strawberries and cream for dessert.
