Swingers West End

OPENED 248 DAYS AGO

Swingers West End is the second site for the crazy golf, bar and street food destination, now open on John Prince’s Street near Oxford Circus.

Crazy golf is a lot more fun with drinks and loud music, plus you can try food from some of London’s most exciting street food traders. If you enjoy this style of dining, be sure to check out London’s best street food markets and food halls.

The Spot:

The theme this time is the English Seaside so try to imagine, if you will, the faded glamour of 1920’s seaside Britain only with… pizza and tacos. The main draw, other than cocktails and street food is the crazy golf, of course, and there are two nine-hole courses to play. You can take your drinks around the course but food needs to be eaten at the tables.

The Food:

Tacos come from the brilliant Breddos who have come up with an exclusive menu for Swingers including tacos, tostadas and tlayudas, which are crisped tortillas spread with toppings, like a very thin, crispy pizza.

Speaking of pizza, you can get your fix from Made of Dough, who started out in Pop Brixton with their excellent Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas. Here you can try the mushroom pizza with truffle oil, and the Calabrian salami and chorizo.

Burgers come from Patty & Bun (get the Ari Gold) and for dessert, head to Hackney Gelato for a Cherry Bakewell or chocolate gelato. Yes please.

The Drinks:

There are two bars here. The Bandstand bar is an all-day cocktail bar, while The Grand Hotel Bar is a second, larger bar. Beers, wine and other drinks are all available too of course and when you’re on the course lining up for that hole in one, staff take your order and bring the drinks to you.

The Damage:

Golf costs £13 per person per round at peak times or £10 per person per round off-peak (Monday to Wednesday, before 5pm). Half the general admission tickets are sold in advance online and half are held back for purchase on the door. Street food and drinks are purchased separately.

In a Nutshell:

You won’t be surprised to learn that crazy golf is much more fun when it’s accompanied by pumping music, disco lights and negronis.
