Ruinart at Hotel 1729
Open from June 30 until July 10, Ruinart brings a different version of Maison Ruinart (the first established house of Champagne) to London. The pop-up hotel offers an exclusive one-night stay experience, complete with dinner and – wait for it – Ruinart champagne.
The unique one-bedroom hotel is designed in collaboration with Tim Hingston, who has won numerous awards for his innovative approach to art and design – not to mention a portfolio that includes work with artists such as The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Lady Gaga. Aiming to communicate Ruinart’s vision that ‘vivre est un art’ (living as an art form), Hotel 1729 brings the brand to life with design elements that stimulate both the eyes and ears – only to be experienced by residents of the hotel.
But we know you’re especially interested in your champagne and dinner – Olivier Livoir (Ruinart Maître d’Hospitalité) will be on-site to take you through the tastings of Ruinart, while Danish chef Bo Lindegaard will complement your champers with special pairing dishes. This whole experience is going to cost you though: an overnight stay for two is priced at £850.
