Luke Wilson and Cameron Emirali’s Top 5 Bars in Soho

Luke Wilson and Cameron Emirali of 10 Greek Street share their top 5 drinking spots in Soho.

Mark’s Bar. Luke and Cameron say, ‘Found in the basement of Hix, Mark’s bar is a buzzing West End cocktail bar making classic, British-inspired libations. There’s a great atmosphere and relaxing vibe, and the team here know their stuff without being pretentious.’

Experimental Cocktail Club. Luke and Cameron say,A hidden gem in Chinatown with a nondescript entrance that’s well worth the hassle of trying to find. True to its name, the menu features inventive, creative cocktails with welcoming staff. Live jazz music adds to the speakeasy bar atmosphere.’

68 & Boston. Luke and Cameron say, ‘Just a few doors down from us – we love the ground floor wine bar serving great value bottles that won’t break the bank. Upstairs there’s a spacious cocktail bar with knowledgeable bartenders making classic cocktails in a 1920s-style interior.’

Bar Termini. Luke and Cameron say, ‘A tiny coffee and cocktail bar on one of Soho’s busiest streets that feels like it’s been around forever and is full of 1950s old-school Italian charm; from the interiors to the menu and the attentive bar team. There are only six tables so booking ahead is advised. It’s constantly busy with a great lively atmosphere. La dolce vita in London.’

Bar Termini, 7 Old Compton Street, W1D 5JE

The French House. Luke and Cameron say, ‘A Soho institution, as important for its history and atmosphere as the drinks. It’s a boozer that’s stood the test of time and was frequented by famous Soho characters like Francis Bacon and Dylan Thomas. Prices are very low and beer is famously only served in halves. Part of the experience and fun is jostling for space inside or on the pavement in the summer. Perfect for when you’re sick of over-hyped novelty bars.’
