Just Opened Mastercard Experiences
Here at JOL we are always looking for the most inspirational experiences for our readers, which is why we’ve partnered with Priceless Cities, who have arranged exclusive dining experiences, events and masterclasses at some of London’s hottest venues.
If you’re a Mastercard cardholder, you can enjoy great value treats at London’s top food and drink destinations, which will make you the envy of friends and colleagues… unless you take them with you, of course! Here’s a selection of those we think are truly Priceless…
Cocktail Class and a Tasting Menu at Londrino
Portuguese-influenced restaurant Londrino is one of the hottest restaurants around London Bridge, with chef Leandro Carreira (Lyle’s, Viajante, Koya) and team in the kitchen. They recently featured on our guide to the best bar menus in London and Mastercard cardholders can enjoy an exclusive tasting there, before moving through to the restaurant to enjoy the full Portuguese experience.
Begin your evening with a unique cocktail class focusing on one of the hottest trends in food and drink right now — fermentation — alongside a line-up of Portuguese inspired snacks. Then, you’ll move through to the main restaurant where you’ll enjoy a tasting menu alongside matched wines. At £100 per person, this is incredible value for food of this quality, and you and your mates can experience the restaurant in a completely unique way – one to boast about at the office, for sure.
A Tour and Guided Wine Tasting at Renegade London Wine
Renegade London Wine is a very unique venue indeed… an urban winery in the heart of east London. Combining grapes grown in the UK (now a very good thing) with those from Continental Europe, they are then bottled in Bethnal Green. Need to see it to believe it? Here’s your chance.
With this Priceless experience you will enjoy an exclusive tour from the winemaker and an introduction to what its like to make wine in the East End of London. There will be an opportunity ask questions, too, so gather your wine-loving pals and get ready for some serious inside intel. Of course, you’ll be tasting the latest vintages afterwards!
Mash Wine Pairing Dinner and Tour
If you’re interested in wine then the Priceless Cities experience at Mash is pretty unbeatable. You and up to nine friends could be taking a sommelier-guided tour of their collection, which is a staggering 900 wines strong.
It’s a historic location, too, situated in the old Regent Palace Hotel, a Grade II-listed building which once housed 800 rooms and employed over 1000 staff. Oliver Bernard later gave the place a makeover in the art deco style so this is definitely one to impress that pal who’s always trying to trump you with their wine knowledge. Show them who’s boss once and for all by taking them along to this unique tasting experience which moves through the US, South America, Australia and the Old World. Oh, and after that tour you’ll enjoy a three-course wine-pairing dinner in the restaurant — because learning about wine is thirsty work, right?
Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea London Bus Tour
We all know and love London’s vast selection of afternoon teas but here at JOL we’re always looking for those experiences that are a little bit more special. Brigit’s London Bus tea fits the bill.

Of course, with the Mastercard experience you are guaranteed a top deck seat.
Barbecue is about as smokin’ hot as it gets right now and where better to learn more about it than at Neil Rankin’s temple to meat, Temper City. The second restaurant in his barbecue empire this is located in the heart of The City and focuses on Indian flavours. Gather in the open fire-pit restaurant for a butchery and carving demonstration from head chef Mike Arnold, before settling down to a fun New World Wines masterclass with Group Bar Manager, the effervescent Chris O’Neil.
This 2.5-hour experience is a must for the carnivore in your life, and what’s more you’ll learn about the best pairings for meat and wine, so you can recreate the experience at home. If there’s one thing you need to add to your life-skills list, it’s this.
A Riverside Meal at The Yacht
When summer arrives Londoners love to be by the water, and what better way to do it than eating and drinking in some of the best seats in the house at The Yacht? This riverside restaurant has panoramic views of The Thames and with the Mastercard experience, you’ll be guaranteed a window table.
Enjoy a glass of champagne followed by a three-course meal and a complimentary bottle of wine as you take in the view; perhaps even time your table with sundown for a romantic evening? At £125 for two people, this will be the smartest date you’ve ever arranged…
Afternoon Tea and Tour at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel
Sir George Gilbert Scott designed The St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in 1873 and this is a chance to enjoy a tour of the stunning building, taking in sweeping staircases, ornate wood wall carvings and beautiful painted ceilings.
Your professional tour guide will tell you about the history of the building as you gawp, and afterwards you will retire to the Hansom Lounge to enjoy a Champagne afternoon tea. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the luxurious surroundings of this grand, historic building and pretend that you’re living a different life, just for an afternoon.
Black Sheep Coffee Masterclass
Londoners take their coffee seriously, and if you need to get up to speed there’s no better way than taking the Black Sheep Coffee Masterclass. Learn how to make the perfect brew with a Black Sheep expert, plus learn the history of the bean and even what it’s like to be a professional barista.
What’s more, this Priceless Cities experience allows you to take the masterclass at less than half the normal price, and you’ll enjoy cocktails while you’re soaking up all that knowledge.
A Roast and Wine Flight at Vinoteca City
Vinoteca is one of London’s top wine bars and we always head there for expert advice when we need a great bottle… or three. Did you know, however, that they also do a mean Sunday roast?
The roast is one of the UK’s great culinary achievements and you know what makes it even better? Having someone else cook it for you. With Mastercard, you can enjoy the Vinoteca roast with all the trimmings – choose from roast beef with horseradish or roast Tamworth pork belly, for example – plus, there’s an extra treat in the form of Vinoteca’s curated wine flight, just for you (and up to five friends).
Live Music and Dinner at 100 Wardour Street
Do you love Motown, soul music and food? Then 100 Wardour Street is the place for you. This iconic Soho venue hosts live performances while you dine on dishes like gin and tonic cured salmon with dill mayonnaise, rib eye steak with truffle celeriac and confit garlic, and seabass with charred cucumber, lime jalapeños and garden salad.
At this exclusive Priceless Cities experience you’ll enjoy a three-course meal with expertly selected wines at the restaurant while watching a live Motown and soul music performance. Oh and of course, you’ll have front row seats…
Taste of Palatino
Palatino, the East London restaurant from Stevie Parle, specialises in Roman food with an all-Italian wine list. Their recipes have been developed over years, so their menu offers an authentic Italian dining experience.
With Mastercard, you and a friend can enjoy a four-course tasting menu of these rustic Italian flavours — plus complimentary wine and cocktails.
