Hand Of Glory
Fashionable restaurant group JaguarShoes are behind Hand of Glory, which was originally set to pop up for four months, but now looks like it’s here to stay for quite some time. Their cocktail of rural British influences make Hand Of Glory’s decor a talking point as well as a friendly local and weekend destination with a great selection of ales and drafts. The pub is themed upon folklorian Britain – that means retro magazines are scattered about, and there’s even a maypole or two to have a swing from after a couple of pints. There’s also a lovely area of outdoor seating to top things off which overlooks Hackney Marshes. Couple the view with the folklorean spirit and the great ales and you’ll be mind wandering in no time.
