Fatal Attraction

This psycho thriller was first a movie with Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, but its simple, terrifying premise makes it perfect for the stage. Set around the clenched fists of a love triangle, the insatiable Alex Forrest spends a weekend with Dan Gallagher, a married attorney who couldn’t have guessed at the extent of Alex’s lethal tendencies and lust for revenge.

This simple thriller is to be staged at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, directed by seminal British theatre director, Trevor Nunn. What an intriguing set up for one of the swaggiest American movies of the 80s – but Nunn isn’t one to be typecast.

He directs Sex And The City actress Kristin Davis’ who plays Dan’s broken wife Anne, and Natascha McElhone’s psychopathic Alex, who is bent on getting exactly what she wants and at any cost. Mark Bazeley completes the trio as Dan, the object of Alex’s rampant desire.

This sexy, shocking thriller will have the theatre world in debate this Spring.
