Borderline

OPENED 277 DAYS AGO

Borderline is a relaunched music venue and club space in Soho that champions indie and alternative music.

In a world increasingly dominated by guest lists and table service, Borderline is a sweet saviour of rock ‘n’ roll.

The Spot:

Borderline’s revival has definitely brought with it a sleeker image. It’s now kitted out with brushed brass fittings and surfaces alongside rich burgundy and teal wall textures. The 300-capacity venue features a dance floor, a new cocktail lounge and an overflowing list of unique music acts. Expect to see some of the best established musicians alongside emerging acts.

Borderline London

Originally launched in the late 80s, Borderline has played host to several big names from the rock and indie scene. Bands such as Rage Against The Machine, R.E.M, Eric Clapton, PJ Harvey, and Oasis have all played there. The venue quickly became renowned for hosting the UK debuts of hot international up-and-coming artists.

The Drinks:

The bar has been moved to the back of the venue, and it serves all the liquor you could possibly want, from beer and cocktails to wine and champagne.

The Damage:

Borderline has a vibrant line-up of indie and alternative acts at reasonable ticket prices, as low as £10 for some shows.

Borderline London

In a Nutshell:

The venue hosts a range of club nights, but if you love rock and indie music, this is the place for you. Their popular club night ‘Titled’ is back on Saturdays, playing much-loved guitar-based music. Get your dancing shoes on! Expect flashing lights for some performances and club nights.

As it’s smack bang in Soho, you’re spoilt for choice with all the things to do in Central London before catching a gig at Borderline. Grab some booze and bao at Company Below, or if you want something light and nutritious, try Honi Poké.
